Aromatherapy Massage and Paraffin Wax Treatment Offered by Tanya Mastrobuono, RMT (The following treatments, if performed by an RMT, are covered under any extended health care plan that covers Massage Therapy)
Aromatherapy Massage uses pure essential oils that are absorbed into the body through massage and respiration. Essential oil molecules travel to the circulatory system where they can stimulate or relax your body into healing itself.
Add $4.00 to any of the rates for Massage Therapy to experience this wonderful treatment!
Choose from these oils or others: cinnamon, lime, eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender, grapefruit or bergamot. Use these separately or mix them together!
* Persons with high blood pressure, epilepsy, and pregnancy should not use eucalyptus
Paraffin Wax Therapy is a heated wax applied directly to the hands or feet. It is used to treat arthritis, bunions, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, stress and anxiety.
This moist heat therapy penetrates deep into the skin, releasing tension allowing massage to be more effective.
Oil from the paraffin softens the skin and cuticles, making hands and feet smoother to the touch.
Choose from the following treatments: ~ Add $5.00 to any Massage Therapy treatment for the hands to be dipped ~ Add $10.00 to any Massage Therapy treatment for the feet to be dipped Or ~ $45.00 for a 20 minute hand treatment (10 minutes wax, 10 minutes massage) ~ $50.00 for a 20 minute foot treatment (10 minutes wax, 10 minutes massage)
* Persons with open sores, metal pins or plates in wrists or ankles, or heat sensitivities should not use paraffin wax treatment |
